About the speaker: Corey Barnes teaches at Oberlin College and Conservatory in the areas of the history of Christianity, medieval philosophy of religion, and religion in the Mediterranean world. His research focuses on medieval Christianity and scholasticism. He earned his MA in Religion at Yale Divinity School in 2001 and his PhD at the University of Notre Dame in 2007.
