Episode 56 with Amy Brown "I have trouble remembering what I’ve read. I have to read the same paragraph over and over. It drives me nuts." Amy is a Director of Outbound Transportation for Dollar Tree, where she’s responsible for shipping the company’s merchandise from their distribution centers to the company’s stores. Amy & I talk about her experience with sports growing up — she was a Division 1 basketball player in college — and looking back she feels like athletics and an active lifestyle were so helpful in managing ADHD earlier in her life. We also talk about slow processing speed, something quite common for those of us with ADHD, and the various ways in which we both experience it — including the agony of rarely getting other people’s jokes!
