How to Make Room for the Things That Matter - Emma McGuigan | 1908

Women in Agile - Podcast autorstwa Women in Agile Org sponsored by Scrum.org - Środy

Emma McGuigan dreams of a world where there’s no need for women’s groups because society has changed to the point where equality is a real thing. “I realize it’s a little naïve of me to make a bold statement like that,” she says, “but if we don’t make the bold statements, we’re never going to get there.”   Today, as Senior Managing Director for Accenture Microsoft Business Group and a champion for human rights advocacy and female empowerment, McGuigan is bold in her work with the Stemettes and the Orchid Project, both organizations working to improve the lives of women and girls around the world. In this episode, she offers much advice to listeners on everything from how to show up for conversations and really make a contribution, to how body language impacts our efficacy.  Emma McGuigan’s Words of Wisdom:  “There’s a power in listening. Have the courage to have a conversation. Bring that human side of you to bear because that’s when we’re at our best.”  Accenture | SolutionsIQ’s Leslie Morse hosts.   The Women in Agile community champions inclusion and diversity of thought, regardless of gender, and this podcast is a platform to share new voices and stories with the Agile community and the business world, because we believe that everyone is better off when more, diverse ideas are shared.
