Pakistan's ex-prime minister Imran Khan is to be freed from custody, a day after the Supreme Court ruled his dramatic arrest on corruption charges was illegal. But the country is running out of money - and this week to add to its financial problems there have been huge protests on the streets following the arrest of the opposition leader. The South African rand stemmed losses on Friday after authorities said the country had not approved any arms shipment to Russia last year.
