The Federal Reserve increases interest rates by 0.75 percentage points to fight inflation. The new target range is now 3% to 3.25%, the highest level in almost 15 years. We talk to Tom Sullivan, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s Vice President of Small Business policy. The Central Bank of Brazil is expected to keep its interest rate at 13.75%, which would mark the first slowdown in policy tightening by the bank since early 2021.
