The US central bank has raised interest rates again as it continues to try to curb inflation in the world's largest economy. The Federal Reserve said it was raising its key interest rate by 0.25 percentage points. This marks the smallest increase since last March, after a series of aggressive rate hikes last year. The interest rate hike will also affect Latin America which has historically been tied especially closely to movements in the US economy.
